In 1997 the Minnesota Twins celebrated the ten year anniversary of the 1987 World Series Champions by commissioning this painting. The painting was reproduced in gigantic fashion on the infamous "Baggie" at the Metrodome. Balls hitting off the artwork were "in-play" as they say.
