My relationship with the Minnesota Twins as an artist goes back to the early 1980's. Since then I've had many opportunities to depict our local ball club from the famous "baggie" artwork to the Hall of Fame induction artwork. Many years ago during the dark days of contraction talk, Twins President, Dave St. Peter and I spoke casually about a painting of a new Twins ballpark if it ever came to fruition. At the time that seemed like a distant dream. As Minnesotans enjoy their first season of outdoor baseball in many years the Twins, true to their word, have given me the opportunity to create this panoramic painting celebrating Minnesota's new masterpiece, Target Field.

The new painting, "Twins Territory" depicts the Minnesota Twins new home from a field level perspective that is shared by a small group of players and media. The painting captures the last light of a warm summer evening reflecting off the downtown office buildings while the boys of summer play on the impeccably manicured grass of Target Field. The paper giclee prints of "Twins Territory" are large (11"x50" image) and vibrant. The canvases are even more dynamic at 20"x90". This piece will create an impression in your "mancave".
"Twins Territory" is being reproduced as a small limited edition of fine art giclee prints(500) and canvases(25) with a portion of the proceeds benefitting the Minnesota Twins Community Fund.
